Shunjiro Endo

Grew up in Tokyo, Japan and attends the University of British Columbia, where he is majoring in Sociology. Influences from his father who constantly kept photography as a hobby allowed Shun to start shooting from his high school years at St. Mary's International School. His encounter with James Nachtwey’s photos became a significant instrumental in taking up photography seriously. At the same time, he joined the student newspaper group ‘Ubyssey’ as a staff photographer. Currently, he covers a vast area of genres including portrait, still life, and journalism.
